Hi! I'm Matthew Woitaszek. I'm a Computer Scientist in the Technology Development Division at the National Center for Atmosperic Research in Boulder, Colorado. I'm one of the elusive former Hemisphere systems administrators, and now I work with NCAR's TeraGrid systems. Every once in a while, I teach half of the High Performance Scientific Computing course for the University of Colorado's Computer Science department.

Welcome to my home page: the Mettenbaucher Transitional Authority.

Things are changing
But nothing changes
And still there are changes

The Office of Bright Ideas established the Mettenbaucher Transitional Authority in February 2000 to dynamically leverage our established synergies with respect to planned and unplanned changes, anticipated and unanticipated transients, and the large-scale shift of climatic and temperate zones.

Whether moving from from high school to college, from RIT to the University of Colorado, or from one semester to another, change can involve stress, and stress can be unpleasant and counterproductive. An equal opportunity micromanagement agency, the Mettenbaucher Transitional Authority excels in Personal Dynamics Management. Don't panic. Everything is under control.

The real MTA runs the New York City Subway, the Long Island Rail Road, and the Metro-North Railroad, including Pennsylvania Station and Grand Central Terminal. The WMATA runs the Washington D.C. Metrorail. Of all government agencies and multinational corporations, only large Transportation Authorities can easily misplace rolling objects the size of multiplex movie theatres!

Look around just people
Can you hear a voice?
Find the one who'll guide you
To the limits of your choice

Don't come after
Please don't follow me around
When you read this
I'll be gone

Ask the sun that lightens up the sky
When the night gives in to tell you why

So stop this night so strong
That I will remember
And have it ever after
