My infrequently updated and minimal Internet presence

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and B.A. degrees in both computer science and mathematics from Augustana College.

My research interests primarily revolve around the domain of large-scale distributed systems, i.e. grid and cloud computing, and how such systems are designed and utilized to address challenges that require enormous amounts of computational resources, such as those within the scientific community.

I work for Henry Tufo as a Research Assistant in the Computational Science Center. I have previously worked as a Student Assistant in the Computer Science Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and a member of the Nimbus team in the Computation Institute at Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Chicago.
